President Trump has had enough and he is fighting back. Fresh off banning CNN’s Jim Acosta from the White House, Trump is demanding the media respect the office of the presidency.
He wants a fair shake in the media and he will get one any way necessary – the media for their part are so dependent on Trump for ratings that they will fall in line because literally, their paychecks depend on it.
“I think Jim Acosta is a very unprofessional man,” Trump said. “Not smart person but he has a loud voice.”
Asked how long Jim Acosta’s ban will last Trump put the rest of the media on notice, “As far as I’m concerned, I haven’t made that decision. But it could be others also” He was talking about April Ryan as he made clear seconds later.
“This is a very sacred place you have to treat wh with respect. Treat the presidency with respect…Same thing with April Ryan…You talk about a loser…She doesn’t know what she is doing… Very nasty and she shouldn’t be. You gotta treat the WH and the office of the presidency with respect.”
From The Hill: President Trump on Friday suggested he could pull press credentials from other reporters who don’t show him “respect.”
I think Jim Acosta is a very unprofessional man,” Trump said of Acosta.
Asked how long Acosta’s credentials will be suspended, the president replied: “As far as I’m concerned, I haven’t made that decision. But it could be others also”
Trump also went after April Ryan of American Urban Radio Networks as a “loser” who “doesn’t know what the hell she is doing.”
