Susan Rice’s Team Confirms White House Directed Her To Write Email About Secret ‘By The Book’ Meeting

Susan Rice got caught and now she is coming clean and it is lights out for Barack Obama and James Comey.

In a stunning admission, Rice’s team just confirmed to Fox News that she was directed by White House Counsel to write the Jan 20, 2017 memorandum documenting an Oval Office meeting in which President Obama & National Security officials discussed Flynn.

On April 2017 she said this to a reporter (see the video below): “Trump and the people around him may have been caught up in surveillance of foreign individuals and their identities may have been disclosed. Do you know anything about this?”

Susan Rice: “I know nothing about this.”

From Fox News:

The Jan. 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting Rice documented, revealed that former President Barack Obama had provided guidance on how law enforcement should address Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Parts of the email had been previously released, but a section on former FBI Director James Comey’s response had been classified as “TOP SECRET” until now.

The new section says Comey had suggested to Obama that the National Security Council (NSC) might not want to pass “sensitive information related to Russia” to Trump’s then-incoming national security adviser Gen. Michael Flynn.

In addition, Rice wrote that Obama wanted to be sure that his outgoing administration was “mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that [they could not] share information fully as it relates to Russia.”

Comey reportedly reassured Obama, promising he was proceeding “by the book,” and saying that he had “no indication thus far that Flynn [had] passed classified information to [Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak].” However, he did note that ‘the level of communication [was] unusual.’”

“Remember, they are about to close the counterintelligence investigation. It can’t possibly, Ed, be a criminal investigation because remember Sally Yates doesn’t know anything about it,” Gowdy exclaimed. “She’s the top law enforcement official in the country and this is news to her. To this day she learned it. So, it can’t be a criminal investigation.”

“The other thing I find shocking about this,” he told Henry, “[is] if Susan Rice had been interviewed by Jim Comey that day, he would’ve followed a completely different book.”

“Remember he said he did things to Flynn that he never would have done to the other administrations,” Gowdy added, referring to a 2019 interview in which Comey told MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace that he “sent” FBI agents to be in the room during an interrogation of  Flynn, noting it was “something we, I probably wouldn’t have done or gotten away with in a more organized investigation — a more organized administration.”

“So, I’d like to know what the name of the damn book that they are following is because it’s not the FBI manual,” he concluded.

From The Federalist:

On Jan. 20, 2017, as President Donald Trump was being inaugurated, former White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice sent herself a bizarre email detailing the Jan. 5 meeting between her, Obama, then-Vice President Joe Biden, then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, and fired former Federal Bureau of Investigations Director James Comey. In the email, portions of which were not declassified until recently, Rice recorded that Flynn, who at the time was the incoming national security adviser for Trump, was personally discussed and targeted during the meeting with Obama.

“From a national security perspective, President Obama said he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia.” At the time, the Obama administration was actively spying on members of the Trump team as part of its Crossfire Hurricane investigation against Trump.

“Comey said he does have some concerns that incoming NSA Flynn is speaking frequently with Russian Ambassador Kislyak,” Rice wrote in a portion of the email that was only recently declassified. “Comey said that could be an issue as it relates to sharing sensitive information.”

“President Obama asked if Comey was saying the NSC should not pass sensitive information related to Russia to Flynn,” Rice continued. “Comey replied ‘potentially.’”

“[Comey] added that he has no indication thus far that Flynn has passed classified information to Kislyak, but he noted that ‘the level of communication is unusual.’” The email did not explain how it would be “unusual” for an incoming national security adviser to converse with foreign leaders ahead of a new president’s inauguration. Many observers believe the calls between Flynn and Kislyak were little more than pretext to hide the Obama administration’s spy campaign against Trump from the newly elected president’s team and to justify a continued inquisition against Flynn.

The newly declassified portions of the Jan. 5 Rice email confirm that the targeting of Flynn was coordinated within the inner sanctum of the White House and that both Obama and Biden were deeply involved in the campaign to take down Flynn.
