President Trump is making a very classy gesture to the Bush family after the sad death of former president George H. W. Bush.
Trump has had some issues with the Bush family and it is important to put these in proper perspective.
Trump ran against both parties, against the establishment, who had lost their way. He had to be extra tough to do it and he had to call them out with some hard truths.
Yes, he made some enemies and he may have hurt his future business deals but Trump had no choice because he wants what is best for America.
They reacted in horror but Trump was right – the blunders from the Bush’s the Clinton’s and Obama’s will require near herculean effort to fix and Trump is the right man for the job.
That said we can still honor the former president and we should, but we ought not forget that the establishment is still fighting Trump, and Trump is going to have to get much tougher accomplish his goals.
“Air Force One will be taking myself and a large group of our people back to Washington. It will then be reset and it will be sent to Houston to pick up the casket of President Bush and then be brought back to Washington,” Trump said.
“We’ll be sending Air Force One, which is a special tribute that he deserves very much and it’s my honor, and again, he’ll be greatly missed. Terrific person, terrific man,” Trump added.

In a statement issued hours after Bush’s death on Friday night, the Trumps said that Bush had “inspired generations of his fellow Americans to public service.”
Bush, who served as president from 1989 to 1993, was 94.
The White House announced Saturday morning that the Trumps would attend a state funeral for the former president at Washington’s National Cathedral.
“President Bush guided our nation and the world to a peaceful and victorious conclusion of the Cold War,” the Trumps wrote. “As President, he set the stage for the decades of prosperity that have followed.”
“And through all that he accomplished, he remained humble, following the quiet call to service that gave him a clear sense of direction.
