Obama’s Foundation Hauls In $230 Million Making Even Hillary Clinton Blush

Barack Obama just made Bill and Hillary Clinton blush when he released his foundation’s financial windfall. It’s no small number either.

The Clintons ran their foundation like a slush fund, a personal piggy bank that enraged America. Now it seems Obama may have learned from the Clintons.

The question often asked was what did they have to do for all those donations? The blockbuster book Clinton cash sure provided a corrupt roadmap to follow should anyone want.

The Clintons took money from every corner of the globe no matter the source.

And it looks like Obama will outdo even that dynamic duo after he released his financials which itemize a whopping $230 million total for 2017.

From The Free Beacon: Contributions to President Barack Obama’s foundation skyrocketed last year as the group hauled in more than $230 million, its most recent tax forms show.

The drastic increase in funds also coincided with hefty pay raises for its executives, with one individual pulling in more than $800,000 in total compensation.

The Barack Obama Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit that was launched in 2014 and carries a primary goal of building the Obama presidential center in Jackson Park on the South Side of Chicago, reported $231,993,748 in contributions and grants in 2017. This was an increase of more than $218 million from the $13 million in donations the foundation reported in 2016.

A majority of the foundation’s money last year came from just 13 undisclosed donors. Checks of $25 million were cut by four individual donors while two donors added $24 million each in contributions. Seven more pushed between $5 million and $10 million into the nonprofit’s coffers, its forms show.

From The Daily Caller:According to the 990 tax form it filed with the Internal Revenue Service for 2017, revenue rose exponentially from the previous year when it only raised about $13 million.

Senior executives also enjoyed more than ample remuneration, with the foundation’s executive director, Robbie Cohen, receiving a salary of $862,055 that year. Chief Executive Officer David Simas was paid $614,636 in salary and compensation.

The tax form indicates that “the Foundation’s mission to honor the legacy of President Barack Obama and to inspire, empower and” — it ends without finishing the sentence.
