Jeff Flake Set To Cash In On His Anti-Trump Act Just As Trump Predicted

Jeff Flake is deluded if he thinks his opposition to President Trump made him a star who should be rewarded with media accolades and high paying gigs.

But there he goes, unaware he is one of the most despised men in America, off to his Megyn Kelly like failure as if zeroes in on his dream gig at CBS.

Yep, Flake is set to become just another anti-Trump talking head and he will fail. Look, the left hates him because all he did was talk but never took action to stop Trump.

The right hates him for the same reason – he took the publicity and media hero worship without actually doing anything but make the GOP’s job harder because they had to go answer the BS things Flake was saying.

With most of America believing him to be an unprincipled joke, who will watch him?

From The Daily Wire: Guess which former senator is speaking with CBS News about a job at the network?

It’s Jeff Flake, former senator from Arizona, according to The Hollywood Reporter (THR). THR reports that Flake visited CBS’ Manhattan office, adding, “Flake could serve in the standard role for ex-politicians as an on-air contributor — or as something more, according to knowledgeable sources.”

Interestingly, earlier in the week President Trump speculated that Flake might now seek a television job, saying he would “probably go to work for CNN. That’s my prediction.”

In June, The Daily Beast reported, “Over the past several days, the Arizona Republican—who is not seeking re-election amid his public fights with President Donald Trump—has met with the heads of at least two major cable-news networks. On Monday, he met with MSNBC president Phil Griffin; and on Tuesday, he met with rival network CNN’s chief Jeff Zucker.”

When The Daily Beast queried as to whether he was seeking a job in cable news, Flake laughed, “That’s down the road—that’s six months.”

From The Hollywood Reporter: The moderate former congressman from Arizona was spotted at the network’s Manhattan office on Friday.

After retiring from the U.S. Senate last week, Jeff Flake is still looking for his “next thing.” It might just be at CBS News, which has engaged in talks with the Arizona Republican about a role at the network, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Flake, who emerged as one of President Donald Trump’s biggest critics and might challenge him for the party nomination in 2020, was spotted last Friday at the network’s Manhattan headquarters.
